(Houston) – Three area students have been honored for achieving “Level 3” of the Texas County Memorial Hospital Youth Ambassador program.

Natasha Smith of Houston High School, Lorraina Roderick of Mountain Grove High School, and home school graduate Bryce Thornton were recently honored for their service to the hospital. Over two years, Smith volunteered 172 hours, Roderick volunteered 250 hours, and Thornton volunteered 164 hours.

Each student received a $25 gift card, a TCMH fleece jacket, a special lunch in their honor and a letter of recommendation from the TCMH board of trustees.
