(Mountain Home) – The Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board, following the recommendation of the Director of the Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE), approved a number of program requests presented by Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH).

New Certificate/Degree Programs approved for ASUMH includes an Associate of Applied Science in Workforce Technology, with emphasis in mechatronics, heating and air conditioning, and automotive systems repair; a Technical Certificate in Accounting and Finance; Accounting and Finance, with an Emphasis in AAS in Management, and a Technical Certificate and Certificate of Proficiency in Mechatronics.

The AHEC Board also approved the proposed Workforce Technology Center at 4034 Highway 62 West in Mountain Home.
