John Avery, Fruit Grower Advisor with MSU Fruit Experiment Station will be the presenter. There will be hands on demonstrations on pruning technique for different species of fruit trees; the pruning system for each species; what to remove, what to keep, and what to look for when pruning. Discussion will also include the importance of pruning each year and the recommended tools to use for pruning.
Pre-registration for the free workshop is requested. A minimum of 10 participants will be required to hold the workshop.
