(Jefferson City) – Missouri Senators returned this week to continue to hear legislation in committee.

The Senate Ways and Means Committee hears Senate Bill 496, which is being sponsored by Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-Glendale). Schmitt shared that the measure would create an individual income tax deduction for business income and phase it in over a period of five years:
