(Mountain Home) – A couple from Corning, AR have been arrested in connection with a burglary that took place in the summer.

Investigators with the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas Probation and Parole office, along with the Lakeview Police Department, were called to the parole office in Mountain Home around 4 PM Friday, where 47-year-old Jack Creameans and his wife, 47-year-old Kimberly Creameans were at for a scheduled parole visit.

A press release from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office states that Lakeview Officer David Hotchkiss identified a ring that Kimberly was wearing as one that was stolen from an elderly couple in Lakeview during the summer. A search of Kimberly Creameans reportedly found marijuana on her person, and meth was reportedly found on Jack Creameans, along with a device used to cheat a urine test.

The news release states that Jack Creameans had worked for the victims of the burglary, and had stolen a number of items including jewelry, guns, power tools and knives, some of which were found in Creameans’ vehicle. Other items reportedly found in the vehicle included several syringes that were used to inject methamphetamine, a set of digital scales that field tested positive for meth, a glass pipe that is believed to have been used for the consumption of meth. A firearm was also found in the vehicle.

Jack Creameans was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft of property, and possession of a firearm by a felon. Jack Creameans is being held on bond of $50,000 pending his appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court on January 2 at 9 AM.

Kimberly Creameans was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft by receiving, and firearm possession by a felon. Kimberly Creameans is being held on bond of $25,000 pending her appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court of January 2 at 9 AM.

The 2010 Ford Mustang the Creameans were driving was seized and being held for possible forfeiture. The investigation is continuing with more charges possible.
