(Marion County) – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office says that a couple was arrested on December 23 on charges of meth manufacturing.

26-year-old Blane and 29-year-old Tessa Ebersold of rural Oakland were arrested after an investigation from late November, when the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children’s Division investigated a report of child neglect, due to the Ebersold’s possibly cooking meth in the presence of an infant.

A report from the sheriff’s department says that upon arrival, officers observed numerous items at the residence related to the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Officer’s then secured the residence and obtained a search warrant, in which they discovered all the components of a meth lab, including testable methamphetamine.

Both Ebersolds were arrested and charged with manufacturing a controlled substance (meth); possession of a controlled substance (meth); possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to manufacture meth; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Ebersold’s bond was set at $25,000 each, which they posted. Both are scheduled to appear in Marion County Circuit Court on January 18, at 10:00.

Assisting in the investigation were the Flippin Police Department and 14th Judicial Drug Task Force.
