(West Plains) – The Howell County Detention Center has joined with Tiger Correctional Services to provide a Lobby Kiosk at the jail.
The kiosk is located on the wall near the Jail window in the lobby of the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, and will allow for family and friends of inmates that are in incarcerated in the Howell County Detention Center to deposit money to their commissary account.
The kiosk will accepts cash, all major credit cards, and debit cards. Currently, family members must purchase a money order and then mail it to the inmate. The kiosk will provide a more convenient alternative.
The Howell County Detention Center has also set up with Tiger Correctional Services to provide internet based deposits and ordering. If a family member wishes to add money to an inmate’s account online they can to www.TigerDeposits.com and do so using a credit or debit card. Family members may also go to www.TigerSnack.com and order a card package to be sent directly to the inmate.
Currently, the jail is still accepting money orders though the mail, however, as of January 1, 2014 all monies must be added to an inmate account through either the Kiosk or the website.
