deer3(West Plains) – The fall rifle deer season starts on Saturday, and the Missouri Department of Conservation is urging the public to be cautious if they are planning on hunting this weekend.

Howell County MDC Agent Matt Franks spoke with Ozark Radio News and told us about the season:

Franks offered more safety tips, some of them being mandatory for hunters:

Rifle deer season runs from Saturday, November 16 through November 26. For more information on the season, visit mdc.mo.gov.
