(Jefferson City) – If you were to pick the Missouri city where you are most likely to strike a deer with your car, would you pick Kansas City or Lee’s Summit? They ranked first and second in 2011 for deer-vehicle collisions in Missouri.

Fall is a time when deer are seen, and hit by motorists, more frequently, and the Highway Patrol urges the public to be cautious, after recent insurance survey placed Missouri among the highest states in deer-vehicle crashes. Brett Stevens has more:
