(Willow Springs) – In September, we reported that Willow Springs High School received national recognition for being a “Blue Ribbon School”. School Superintendent Dr. Derrick Hutsell spoke with Ozark Radio News and talked about the designation:

Because of the recognition, Hutsell says that the district will be throwing a celebration later this month:

The Blue Ribbon designation is based on a school’s overall academic excellence and their progress in improving student academic achievement.
