(West Plains) – Dozens of bikers, some from as far away as Great Britain and France, trickled in and out of the West Plains Civic Center Friday afternoon for one of the final stops on a 6-night, five-day H.O.G. Touring rally that ran September 22-27.
Ozark Radio News spoke with Paul James, the Consumer Events Director with Harley-Davidson Motor Company, who talked about the “Ozark Hellbender Tour”:
James says that some riders were unsure about the tour route, but he says that changed soon enough:
Ozark Radio News also spoke with Demea Loyd of Washington, MO, who was on the tour.
She echoed the sentiments shared by James and other riders about the scenery and the trip itself:
The tour went from West Plains up to Cuba, MO, where the riders would get to try out a number of 2014 Harley-Davidson models. At 1 PM, West Plains Mayor Jack Pahlmann welcomed those in attendance and thanked them for their time in the city.
