(Summersville) – After many months of renovations and construction, the new Summersville Library opened on Saturday, August 17.

Diana Richardson with the Summersville Library spoke with Ozark Radio News and told us about the old location, and the move:

Now with double the space, Diana says that a number of improvements have gone into the new location:

The library also has handicap accessible bathrooms and space for 12 computers, while the previous location had only 5.

The Summersville Library is part of the Texas County Library group, which carries some benefits, as Richardson explained:

The project was funded through a $241,000 Community Development Block Grant from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
