Mercy St. Francis Hospital President Jonathan Wade says the money was raised over the past through years trough various fundraisers and events, along with sales from the hospital gift shop and the hospital thrift store. Wade says that the auxiliary continued to supply the hospital with funding if needed, but the hospital hadn’t had many major financial needs until now.

Wade says that the money will be used to purchase new equipment for a sleep lab and the networking to get the equipment into the Mercy system.
