(West Plains) – 8th Congressional District Representative Jason Smith visited Howell County Tuesday to meet with constituents and visit a number of businesses and groups.

Smith told people at his stops in West Plains that he has been taking time during the legislative session to visit the 30 counties in the 8th District and meet with community members and leaders to see what issues matter most to them. He also discussed items like his first month in DC, the White River Blueways Designation, immigration reform, and financial issues.

Smith stopped at Ozarks Medical Center and the Ozarks Small Business Incubator in West Plains, and met with Howell County’s elected officials at the County Commission office. Smith also went to Jasper Transmissions and the SOAR meeting at the Ferguson Building in Willow Springs that evening.
