(Ozark County) – A woman accused of stabbing a man to death in 2012 has been found to have been “insane” during the incident.

41-year-old Angela Plemmons of Ozark County pleaded not-guilty by reason of insanity on Friday of last week, and because the plea was accepted by both the state and defense psychiatric experts. Plemmons was released last week to the Missouri Department of Mental Health for holding.

She faced First Degree Murder charges in the July 2012 stabbing death of 73-year-old Charles Wiggins of Dugginsville.
