(Jefferson City) – Senators returned to the floor Wednesday to discuss several measures including Senate Bill 125, which would, among other provisions, modify duties of boards of education. Senator Jamilah Nasheed (D-St. Louis) sponsors the legislation and discusses some of the new provisions added to the final version of the bill:

Senate Minority Floor Leader Jolie Justus (D-Kansas City) and Senate Education Chairman David Pearce (R-Warrensburg) review modifications to the legislation before the measure is truly agreed to and finally passed. The measure now moves to the governor’s desk:

The Senate also gave final approval to Senate Bill 252, a measure that would, among other provisions, prohibit the Missouri Department of Revenue from retaining copies of source documents used to obtain driver’s and non-driver’s licenses. Senator Will Kraus (R-Lee’s Summit) sponsors the measure and explains some of the new provisions added to the bill.

That measure was approved and also moves to the governor’s desk.
