(West Plains) – A Vahan 14 karat gold, sterling silver and diamond bracelet valued at $2,125 and donated by Carter’s Jewel Chest in Mtn. Home, AR, will be one of the many items up for sale at Missouri State University-West Plains’ 19th Annual Auction set for Friday, April 5, at the West Plains Opera House.

Tickets for the 1960s rock n’ roll-themed event, entitled “Be True to Your School,” are still available for $35 per person, organizers said, adding it includes a mingling meal, as well as many opportunities to bid on practical items, experience packages and more. Guests also may reserve a table for eight for $350,.

The event, which is being sponsored by Café 37, will begin at 6 PM with a silent auction featuring themed baskets, gift certificates for local restaurants and businesses, and a wide variety of practical and fun items. The silent auction will be followed by a live auction at 7:45 PM.

Organizers also encourage area residents to check out the auction website, and Facebook page, “MSU-WP Auction,” daily for the latest additions to the list of auction items.

Members of the annual auction planning committee include Heather Bennett, Ruby Collins, Stephanie Cundall, Jackie Grisham, Cindy McFarland, Haley Mitchell, Barbara Nyden, Connie Pfeifer, and Kathy Schloss, as well as development office staff members Joe Kammerer, Debbie Martin, Debra Mosley, Susan Turner, Melissa Hinton and Amanda Niemotka.
