(Mountain Home) – More information is being released in the death of a Mountain Home man.

24-year-old Raul Turrieta was found dead this week after the suspect in his death, Christina Scroggin, reportedly called 911 and told operators that she may have killed someone.

Baxter County Sheriff’s Investigators traveled to Little Rock Wednesday to observe the examination of the victim’s body by personnel with the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office, where it was determinted Turrieta died as a result of sustaining three gunshot wounds to his head and chest from a handgun. A .38 caliber revolver was reportedly found inside the victim’s vehicle when it was searched. The Sheriff’s Office is waiting on the ballistic results from the gun.

Investigators say Turrieta and Scroggin were in Little Rock that day, and are working to create a timeline of events that lead up to the death.

On Wednesday, Scroggin was still in the Baxter County Detention Center on charges of First Degree Murder. The investigation is ongoing.
