(West Plains) – The South Central Career Center has kicked off a campaign called “Raise the Barn” to build a new agriculture facility in the West Plains R-7 School District.

Ozark Radio News spoke with SCCC Director Jim Laughary, who told us more about the facility and its purpose:

Laughary says that the facility will be state-of-the-art, and will cost around $800,000. He talked more about the facility and the funding:

The ag facility is part of a much larger project at the South Central Career Center, which is looking to move all of their adult classes to the building on Thornburgh.
