(Willow Springs) – Westwood Rural Health Clinic, part of Willow Health Care of Willow Springs, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday to celebrate the new clinic building, which had been open for a number of months. Attendees at the event included, among others, 8th District Congresswoman Jo Ann Emerson, Willow Springs Mayor Jay Waggoner, Mountain View Mayor Bud Vines, and members of the Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce.

Ozark Radio News spoke with Executive Director Jack Whitaker, who told us that he was appreciative of Congresswoman Jo Ann Emerson stopping by:

Whitaker says that future plans for Willow Health Care includes new rehab units and an independent living wing at the group’s Mountain View location.
