(St. Louis) (AP) – Pothole season is in full swing, and the Missouri Department of Transportation is asking motorists to point out the trouble spots.
MoDOT this week began a program to temporarily patch potholes on the roadways the agency covers. St. Louis District engineer Ed Hassinger says the public is being asked to report the trouble spots.
Hassinger estimates that MoDOT will spend millions of dollars throughout Missouri repairing the holes.
Motorists can report potholes by calling 1-888-ASK-MODOT, or by going to the agency’s website, Facebook or Twitter.
