(Salem, AR) – A man from Henderson, AR was arrested this past week in Salem on felony drug charges.
25-year-old Nicholas Weeks was charged with Obtaining a Controlled Substance with False Information, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Aggravated Assault and Resisting Arrest.
Court documents state that Weeks was arrested after an investigation of a man attempting to obtain a schedule 2 narcotic with a forged prescription from an area pharmacy. When confronted by authorities, Weeks reportedly began fighting with the officer and attempted to flee the store.
He was later subdued and arrested, and reportedly attempted to eat the prescription during the struggle.
