(Doniphan) – One person is dead after an accident Friday night near Doniphan.
A report from the Highway Patrol says the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 21 at Bridge Street, about 3 miles west of Doniphan, when the southbound vehicle driven by 22-year-old Joshua Richardson of Gatewood, MO ran off-road on his Suzuki motorcycle while trying to pass another vehicle. Richardson’s bike then overturned and ejected him.
Richardson was pronounced dead at the scene.
