(West Plains) – Two people have been charged in a drug bust in West Plains.

20-year-old Cheryl Holloway and 23-year-old Rachel McCay, both of West Plains, were arrested Sunday and charged Monday with Possession charges. Both bonded out.

Court documents state that the two possessed synthetic cannabinoids at their home in the 1200 block of Jackson St. and intended to distribute the illegal narcotics. Police say a 3-year-old child was found locked in a bedroom at the time authorities raided the home. The child was taken and placed in the state’s custody.

Both Holloway and McCay have a court date of March 25 at 9 AM.

The door to the room the child was locked in was tied off to prevent the child from leaving, according to authorities. (WPPD Photo)
