(Birch Tree) – As Banker Henrietta Schulz rang in 2013, she realized she would have a different daily experience than what 2012 held for her. As of January 1, 2013, she was retired and looked forward to spending time with her family and enjoying her hobbies.
She was the honored guest at a retirement reception held at Landmark Bank in Birch Tree on December 28, 2012. She worked her final day on Monday, December 31.
Henrietta started working at the bank, which was then The Bank of Birch Tree, in March of 1974.
Henrietta was born in Montier and grew up in the area. She married Tommy Schulz in March 1965 and they have six children, with 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.
Her husband is retired from the City of Mountain View and she looks forward to spending more time with him on the farm. They have 50 head of cattle on their family farm in Montier.
