(Ava) – A resident of Ava suffered minor injuries Tuesday afternoon after the vehicle he was driving ran off-road and overturned down a steep embankment.
42-year-old David Overcast was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield by EMS.
The accident happened at 4:40 PM on Route 76, 9 miles west of Ava. The Highway Patrol report states that that Overcast was wearing a seat belt at the time the accident occurred.
