(West Plains) – West Plains High School student Randy Fukasawa earned a honorable mention for the Missouri All-State Band for his Oboe audition.
Randy was one of only 13 oboe players in the state to earn a callback second audition and then he placed 6th overall in the state. Each year the all-state band accepts only 4 oboe players, and names two others as honorable mentions for a total of six recognitions for high school musicians who play the oboe.
