(West Plains) – A resident of Altus, AR suffered minor injuries Thursday after she ran into a school bus near West Plains on Thursday.
20-year-old Peyton Slocum was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.
The accident happened Thursday on Highway 160, 6 miles west of West Plains. A report from the Highway Patrol says Slocum rear-ended the school bus, driven by 57-year-old Dumar Jones of West Plains, while it was unloading children.
No children on the bus were injured.
